Today in Philippine Genealogy: Birth of Marcela Camerino

On September 8, 1895, the parish priest of the town of Imus, after verifying that Don Eulalio Jimenez, with the necessary license, had administered the sacraments and anointed with the Holy Oils and Chrism in the local church, baptized a girl who had been born five days earlier. The child was named Marcela, the legitimate daughter of Pablo Camerino and Cesaria Panquillo, who are both natives and lawful spouses from the town of Imus.

Marcela’s paternal grandparents are Pablo and Eugenia Medina, while her maternal grandparents are Catalino and Anselina Panlo. The godmother, Sra. Maria Salvo, also a resident of Imus, was duly informed of her spiritual and other obligations. The record of this baptism was signed by the parish priest, Eulalio Jimenez, as a true account of the event.
